Overview

The position will be responsibilities include educating members on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders.

Job Responsibilities:

To prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
To be fully knowledgeable about all bar/lounge products and recipes.
To provide a high standard of quality and efficient/friendly service
To prepare mise-en-place and perform side duties.
Welcoming members, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
Planning drink menus and informing members about new beverages and specials
To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and prepare garnishes for each drink/beverage accordingly.
To monitor operating supplies to reduce spoilage and wastage.
To perform cashiering functions, and to ensure that the cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to.
To have ready garnishes for all drinks upon opening of the lounge.
Apply the FIFO method (first in, first out) to best utilize the products and reduce wastage.
Compliance with the dress code during working hours.
Understand and adhere to all CORE’s policies including but not limited to CORE Code of Conduct

Experiences & Qualifications

High school/diploma.
+1 year of bar or restaurant experience including beverage preparation.
Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
