Overview
The Facility Officer is responsible for ensuring that facility and maintenance workflow runs smoothly by providing all essential assistance and identifying current and future issues to provide a suitable and a safe environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, professional work environment.
- Ensure facility is fully operational, with all utilities working properly.
- Ensure the club and all equipment are always well maintained, clean, safe, and compliant with standards.
- Conduct daily inspections to maintain a clean and safe work environment for members.
- Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security, etc.
- Ensure club compliance with health and safety legislation, including hazardous substances, fire safety, and first aid certification.
- Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity, etc.) and refurbishments.
- Prepare weekly report of facility activities.
- The employee must perform any other job-related tasks, as required by his/her direct manager.
- Oversee contractors and maintenance of the facility.
- Response to raised maintenance and repair tickets in proper and defined timing.
- Follow-up on any project executions related to facility.
Audit contractor performance and ensure alignment with CORE standards.
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor in engineering or similar fields.
- Valid SCE membership.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and regulations
- Good communication skills
