Overview

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, analysing financial statements, ad hoc management tasks, and financial reporting. Other day-to-day tasks will include presenting financial reports to senior management, providing financial analysis, feasibility, and support to different departments in the company, and participating in budgeting and forecasting processes.


Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks as part of ongoing risk management responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes.
  • Utilize advanced financial software and automation tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies, to ensure aligned financial strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to optimize operations.
  • Support strategic planning with critical financial insights that influence the company’s long-term objectives and growth strategies.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts.
  • Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management to communicate financial performance.
  • Conduct industry research and benchmarking analysis.
  • Ad-hoc financial reports as may be required by management.


    Experiences & Qualifications

    • Degree in Finance or Accounting.
    • Experience in analyzing financial statements and creating financial reports.
    • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
    • Experience in a related field such as accounting, finance, or economics. Minimum years of Experience is 5 Years.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, ACA CPA) CFA part qualification is a plus.
    • Strong financial planning and finance skills.
    • Analytical skills with an ability to work with complex financial data.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills including presentation tools (e.g. PowerPoint & Power BI).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
