Overview

Role purpose: Supervise the day-to-day maintenance and management of rented properties that belong to housing associations. In this role, you’ll be in direct contact with people daily helping them to resolve any housing problems they may have. Also, Housing & HR Specialist will be responsible for HR/ Administration tasks such as hotel and flight booking and visa processing.

HR:

• Arrange hotel and flight bookings based on SOPs.

• Update the Business Travels budget dashboard on a daily basis.

• Keep track of all visa agencies and visa processes in the tracker.

• Work on the issuance of business/work visas with agencies and provide all needed documents.

• Update all concerned parties on visa process status and involve individuals if needed.

Housing:

• Make sure that the accommodation facilities are complying with the Ministry of Municipal Rural Affairs &

Housing terms and conditions of health and safety.

• Regularly update the accommodation plan and rooms inventory.

• Immediate report incidents in the accommodation to HRBP.

• Handle colleague welfare and concerns related to rooms and privacy.

• Arrange airport pickups and drop off.

• Coordinate with the contracting company concerning all maintenance issues.

• Coordinate with the outsourced cleaning company to maintain the hygiene standards to provide our

colleagues with a healthy environment.

• Occasionally patrol in the accommodation for anything unusual to be noted and HRBP.

• Follow up with the purchasing on pending items related to employees’ accommodation.

• Update all stores in the accommodation and ensure no shortage of needed items.

• Arrange rooms for new colleagues as per the SOP’s.

• Handle and control colleague movements and shifting inside the accommodation.

• Prepare and maintain up-to-date inventory lists for all flats and accommodations.

• Deal with replacement or repairs of the accommodation furniture and home appliances in conjunction

with the services providers.

• Keep up to date on housing-related benefits and advise the colleagues on these, Report all accidents in

accordance with the agreed procedure.

• Ensure IT systems are functional and kept up to date.

Experiences & Qualifications

▪ 2-year experience as an HR Officer/ Housing Officer at a luxury facility.

▪ Successful working with other agencies.

▪ Experience and knowledge of housing health and safety requirements.

▪ A flexible approach to working outside the official hours when need it.

▪ Good English Language, communication and negotiation skills.

▪ Understanding housing law and taking legal action against breaches.

▪ Understanding of best practice in & management of nuisance, harassment & anti-social behavior.
