Lifeguard

Overview

Ensure the safety of individuals who are swimming or engaged in water-related

activities. This includes monitoring the pool or other bodies of water to prevent

accidents, responding quickly and effectively in emergency situations, administering

first aid or CPR when necessary, and enforcing safety rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee swimming activities and ensure that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are
followed.
• Warns swimmers of improper/dangerous activities and applies pool regulations and water safety
policies.
• Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area and identifying any safety issues.
• Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning,
and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
• Evaluates conditions for safety and initiate emergency action plan as required.
• inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
• Oversees and assists in cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment, assists with
chlorine residual water tests and with records and charts of water tests and records of accidents,
and adds chemicals to pool water as directed.
• Providing swim lessons and coaching when applicable.
• Ensure members have an excellent, memorable experience with every visit.
• Deal with member issues and complaints in a professional manner.
• Prepare routine administrative paperwork when needed.

Experiences & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a lifeguard

• Certified in First Aid and CPR.

• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

• Highly skilled in surveillance and rescue techniques.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Outgoing, engaging, fun personality.

• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and regulations

• Presentable, must have good healthy sports shape.

• Proficient in Arabic and English
