Overview

The Facility Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety, physical assets’ condition and functionality. This role focuses on routine & corrective maintenance tasks, monitoring facility conditions, and maintaining a high standard of facility operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Routine & Corrective Repairs:
• Supervise routine maintenance tasks (PPM).
• Conduct basic inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Respond to corrective maintenance requests as per SLAs.
• Maintain quality and standards.

Soft Services:
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, orderliness, landscape & waste management of the facility.

Health and Safety:
• Support the implementation of health and safety regulations and standards.

Coordination with Third-Party Providers:
• Coordinate with third-party service providers and contractors.

Record Keeping:
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and facility conditions.

Inventory Management:
• Support inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies.

Project Assistance:
• Provide assistance during facility-related projects and refurbishments (if required).

Reporting:
• Report any significant issues or incidents to the Facility Manager.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in facility management or a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of facility systems and maintenance practices.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
