Chef Shan

Chef Shan started his professional culinary career in 2009. The first restaurant he landed at was Taj Samudra, 5 star luxury hotel in Sri Lanka.

Shan's goal was to become one of the top chefs in the culinary industry, which led him to work for Marco Pierre, a Michelin star chef from England, at Frankie's Italian restaurant in Dubai.

He then proceeded to work for celebrity chef IZU for 9 years, where they opened award winning restaurants (LPM, La Serre, Seven Sisters, Kai, Carin, Gaia and many more).

And now he is here, leading ENCORE Riyadh as head chef.
